Organise your inbox with colour

Emails can seem to get lost within the crowd. An important email comes in but you miss it because you have over 100 emails in that day. Sound familiar?

There is a feature in Outlook (for PC’s) that allows you to add conditional formatting for your emails. You can also change how unread messages look, make them red instead of black and bold. Emails from a particular person, or with a specific word in the subject or body of the email can be coloured so they stand out.

In older versions of Outlook (2003 and older) this was found within the Organiser, in newer versions this can be found within the view settings (View tab).

Beware that the more colours you use, the more confusing your inbox will look, less can be more.
